DANDY HOTEL IS THE BEST
The location is really convenient, it’s very close to the Taipei American School bus station so it was pretty easy for us to get around. There’s also a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, which was super useful. The atmosphere around here is really nice and windy, and honestly it felt less hot compared to the TMS area. Since this part of the city is surrounded by hills, the scenery is just beautiful. The neighborhood is also very quiet and peaceful compared to the busy city center, so you can really get a good rest here.
The room is small, but because of the minimalist design it actually feels more spacious than expected. We stayed for 6 days and they cleaned our room everyday, and they didn’t really miss anything. They also gave us free snacks and 2 bottles of water every single day, which was really nice.
It’s honestly worth every penny. There’s a snack bar and coffee machine that you can use anytime for FREE, which was such a nice bonus. And after 10 PM, they even have a noodle bar that you can enjoy for free! Definitely one of my favorite things about staying here haha.
The staff are also super nice and helpful. When we were checking in, we had some trouble with our room, but one of the staff, Rubi, was really kind and tried her best to accommodate our requests. On our last day, she even gave us a handwritten goodbye letter. I honestly didn’t expect that at all, it was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture 🥹
Overall, it was a 10/10 experience for me. Would definitely recommend this place to my closest friends and family, and I would happily stay here again if I come back to Taipei!
